We provide transformer supply installation maintenance repair oil processing FR3 retrofills and rigging services to federal agencies investor-owned utilities and large corporations nationwide. ABOUT THE ROLE
NTS is looking for an entry-level Assistant Project Manager to support our Senior Project Manager with the administration and coordination of transformer installation commissioning maintenance and service projects. This role is primarily administrative and coordination-focused with regular travel to active job sites. Its a true growth-track position: NTS provides structured hands-on training with a defined path toward advancement to Project Manager within our Transformer Commissioning & Service Division.
WHAT YOULL DO
Maintain project files contracts purchase orders and change orders
Track project schedules milestones and deliverables
Coordinate travel lodging and logistics for field crews and technicians
Support scheduling of subcontractors equipment and material deliveries
Travel to job sites to provide on-site administrative support
Help maintain compliance documentation and closeout packages
Shadow the Senior Project Manager to build toward future PM responsibility
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
High school diploma required; degree in construction management business or related field a plus
02 years in an administrative coordination or field services support role recent grads welcome
Valid drivers license and willingness to travel 2550% of the time
Proficient in Microsoft Office; comfortable learning new software
Highly organized detail-oriented and a clear communicator
Eager to grow into a Project Manager role
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
$29.00 $35.00/hour commensurate with experience

Required Skills:
QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelors degree in construction management business administration engineering technology or a related field preferred 02 years of experience in an administrative project coordination or construction/field services support role; recent graduates encouraged to apply Valid drivers license and willingness/ability to travel extensively to job sites nationwide including overnight and multi-day trips Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook); ability to learn project management and scheduling software Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Clear professional written and verbal communication skills
