Construction Project Manager (25 Years Experience)
Location: Los Angeles County & Orange County California Job Type: Full-Time
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to oversee ground-up multifamily (podium garden wrap) projects throughout Los Angeles and Orange County. This role is ideal for a professional with25 years of construction project management experience who is ready to take ownership of projects from preconstruction through closeout while working closely with clients subcontractors architects and field teams.
The successful candidate will be a proactive leader with strong organizational communication and problem-solving skills who can effectively manage budgets schedules quality and client expectations.
Responsibilities
Manage construction projects from planning through completion.
Develop and maintain project schedules budgets and cost forecasts.
Coordinate subcontractors vendors consultants and internal teams.
Review drawings specifications contracts and project documents.
Lead project meetings and communicate project status to stakeholders.
Monitor job costs change orders RFIs submittals and permits.
Ensure projects are completed safely on schedule within budget and to quality standards.
Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Support procurement and subcontractor buyout processes.
Assist with project closeout punch lists warranties and turnover documentation.
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering Architecture or related field preferred.
25 years of construction project management experience project engineering or similar experience.
Experience managing commercial multifamily residential industrial hospitality healthcare education or tenant improvement projects is a plus.
Strong understanding of construction methods project scheduling and cost control.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Experience with Procore Bluebeam Microsoft Project Primavera P6 or similar software preferred.
Excellent communication leadership and organizational skills.
Valid California drivers license and ability to travel between job site.
Typical Compensation Package:
Base Salary: $95000 $140000
Annual Performance Bonus
