Assistant Program Director

Are you interested in providing critical intervention to children and adolescents with severe emotional andbehavioral health needs If so Devereux has a great opportunity for you! We are seeking to hire a compassionate individual to join our team as a Assistant Program Director.

The Assistant Program Director position is responsible for providing oversight staffing and retention training employee relations contractual requirements and risk/safety of the individuals. You will work alongside the Program Director to oversee the Devereux I/DD Group Homes in Central Florida.

Position Details:

Pay Range: Starts at $70000. Salary increases based on relevant education and experience.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. On-call required.

EDUCATION and Experience:

• Masters degree in Social Work Human Services or related field with 2 years of clinical program and management experience within child and adolescent psychiatric/child welfare setting. I/DD experiencepreferred.

or

• Bachelors degree Social Work Human Services or related field with 7 years experience and 3 years of supervisory experience within child and adolescent psychiatric/child welfare setting. I/DD experiencepreferred.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid drivers licenserequired
• Successfully pass a Level 2 background screening with the State of Florida. To learn more visit:.
• Successfully pass pre-employment medical screenings which include: Drug Test Physical and TB Test.
• Significant amounts of walking sitting and standing. Some lifting and/or managing resistance required related to applying physical intervention techniques upwards of 75-100 lbs. or more. Some repetitive wrist/hand movements normal hearing and vision.
