Job Summary
The Assistant Professor will serve as a staff psychologist at the VA Connecticut Healthcare System at the Errera Community Care Center (ECCC)/Community Resource & Referral Center of VA Connecticut Health Care System. They will be responsible for the delivery of clinical mental health services provided by the Critical Time Intervention (CTI) program serve as a primary mental health outpatient clinician and mental health treatment coordinator and have direct administrative and clinical program management responsibilities. The Assistant Professor may teach or supervise the clinical work of doctoral interns and postdoctoral fellows specializing in psychosocial rehabilitation and addiction treatment psychology. They will also spend a substantial amount of time conducting research involving the use of digital interventions to advance the care of Veterans with substance use disorders enhance psychosocial functioning.
