The Department ofPsychologyat Washington State Universityinvites applications for a full-time permanent 9-month tenure-track Assistant Professor position on the flagship campus in Pullman WAwith aspecialty inclinical child and adolescent psychology. We seek applicantswith an active research program in child or adolescent clinical psychology who can provide clinical supervision for child and adolescent-focused practicum in our on-site outpatient clinicand who can make a strong contribution to graduateand undergraduateeducation inpsychology.

As new tenure-track Assistant Professor faculty you will be expected to teachgraduate and undergraduatecourses meaningfully contribute to enhancing the research reputation of the department take an active role working with graduate studentsprovide clinical supervisionand make service contributions to the department college university and profession. This 9-month academic appointment will be 40% teaching (12 credit hours per year) 40% research and 20% service.

It isanticipatedthatthe successful candidate will begin the appointment onAugust16 2027.

This is a full-time (100% FTE) permanent 9-month tenure-trackfaculty position.

This position isNOT eligible for overtime.

This position workson-site/in-person at the WSU campus in Pullman WA.

9-Month Academic Salary: $80000.00 to $95000.00 Commensurate with experience and qualifications

In accordance with RCW 49.58.110 the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidates current experience education skills and abilities related to the position or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination Successful candidates typically begin up to mid-point of the salary range.

Required Qualifications:

• Earned doctorate in an APA-accredited clinical psychology doctoral program.

• Licensed or license-eligible in the state of Washington in clinical psychology.

• An active research programin clinical child or adolescent psychology or clinical science that focuses on mental health or well-being broadly conceived.

• Demonstrated ability or potential to develop collaborative partnerships that advance research clinical training and community engagement.

• Demonstrated record of or potential to achieve a record of research accomplishment.

• Demonstrated potential to establish and maintain an externally funded research program.

• Demonstrated record of or potential to effectively teach and mentor students at the graduate and undergraduate levels.

• Research program that provides meaningful opportunities for student involvement.

• Demonstrated record of supporting or potential to support access and opportunity in research teaching and service in alignment with WSUs land grant mission.
