Job Summary
The Department of Medicine at Macon & Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences at Old Dominion University is seeking an Assistant Professor to participate in patient care education and research.
- Provide medical care to patients in a office/hospital setting
- Collaborate with Nursing office staff administration in patient care.
- Participate in academic/clinical/research activates as needed.
- Participate in education evaluations and career development of students residents fellow and staff.
- Participate in committees as assigned
- Manage day to day activities in accordance with EVMS policies and procedures and the policies and procedures of supporting institutions.
- Counseling of students for academic performance life skills and professionalism
- Collaborate with peers faculty and support staff
Minimum Qualifications and Skills:
- MD DO MB or MBBA State of VA license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous work in an academic/teaching setting.
