QUALIFICATIONS:



Masters Degree with emphasis in areas of administration

Meet School Administrator continuing education requirements

Five (5) years of teaching experience

Results driven achievement oriented strategic planning skills and ability to communicate a vision and

goals to others

Strong problem solving ability

Exceptional interpersonal skills to build successful working relationships with staff students and

families

Ability to function in a fast-paced environment

Ability to supervise and develop/mentor subordinate staff members

Ability to function with a keen attention to detail

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks meet tight deadlines and remain organized when frequently

interrupted



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



Works with principal to identify and coordinate the educational needs of regular and special education

programs to ensure maximum educational benefits.

Assists in the evaluation of staff and instructional programs to ensure student achievement.

Maintains a positive working relationship with parents and acts as a problem solver when concerns

arise.

Ability to monitor student attendance patterns coordinates truancy intervention procedures and

collaborates with families and support staff to improve student engagement.

Addresses behavioral and attendance issues until resolved in a satisfactory manner.

Develops an atmosphere of trust respect interest and enthusiasm within the school.

Complies with legal and regulatory requirements of various governmental agencies.

Keeps abreast of new technologies and innovative techniques to ensure school is up to date.

Supervises extra-curricular activities.

Maintains confidentiality regarding school matters.

Performs other related duties as assigned by the principal/superintendent.
