POSITION: ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL - OAK PARK

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum:

• AA Certification in School Administration Endorsement Area 486 487 or 488.
• Experience as a classroom teacher.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong human relation skills.
• A philosophy of school leadership which includes:

  • Curriculum emphasis
  • An understanding of child development
  • A safe orderly and effective school climate
  • High performance expectations
  • Sound fiscal management
  • Parent and community involvement and
  • A standard operating procedure which promotes two-way communications and grass roots input in the decision-making process.
• Good physical condition with ability to lift 10 pounds.

LENGTH OF CONTRACT: 215 DAYS per school year

SALARY: Determined by degree and experience.

Any person desiring to transfer within the system must adhere to School Board Policy GBE.
