Assistant Plant Manager - Montgomery AL

Job Description

You play a critical role in leading daily operations at the Louisville automotive manufacturing facility. As a member of the Louisville Leadership Team you help drive safety quality delivery and cost performance while supporting customers employees and the local community.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daytoday plant operations across production engineering materials and quality functions.
• Drive a participative highperformance culture by leading cultural change and engaging teams at all levels.
• Support OEM customer launches and ongoing production by coordinating crossfunctional activities and meeting customer requirements.
• Set longterm goals and objectives for the facility to anticipate future business and operational needs.
• Evaluate plant performance through regular quality and operational reviews and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify production risks and develop contingency plans to ensure continuity of supply and customer satisfaction.
• Coach mentor and develop plant leadership to support succession planning and longterm talent development.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA Human Rights and Employment Standards while communicating plant performance and goals through regular meetings.

Experience Requirements

• 510 years of experience in a management role within the automotive manufacturing industry.
• Bachelors Degree in a related field.
• Experience overseeing operations producing automotive seats interiors or instrument panels.
• Experience managing complex supply chains in highcomplexity manufacturing environments.
• Experience leading or working within High Performance Work Teams.
• Proven experience supporting OEM customers on quality launch and operations topics.
• Strong communication interpersonal planning and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with strong time management and attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing assembly sequencing and equipment principles.
