Together we are Building A Better the Role:The Assistant Plant Manager provides operational leadership within a high-volume automotive assembly facility supporting the Plant Manager in achieving safety quality delivery productivity and cost objectives. This role leads plant-floor operations develops operations leadership drives continuous improvement and ensures production processes consistently meet customer and company Assistant Plant Manager plays a key role in operational launches lean manufacturing initiatives employee development and cross-functional problem solving while helping create a safe accountable and high-performing plant You Will Do: Lead daily plant-floor operations to achieve safety quality delivery and productivity operational launch activities and ensure successful implementation of new programs and and coach Operations Managers Production Supervisors and production production performance staffing schedules and resources to meet customer continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing standardized work 5S and structured problem with Quality Engineering Maintenance Materials and Logistics to resolve issues and improve plant IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 compliance and customer quality plant planning budgeting and strategic a culture of safety accountability teamwork and continuous compliance with company policies procedures and applicable You Need to Be Successful:5 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience preferably in automotive knowledge of high-volume manufacturing and Lean Manufacturing ability to lead teams drive KPIs and improve operational problem-solving decision-making and communication to work effectively across all levels of an in Microsoft Points If You Have:Automotive Tier 1 or contract manufacturing with new program 16949 and ISO 14001 or Six Sigma with 5S PFEP and standardized :Bachelors degree in Operations Engineering Business Manufacturing or a related field; equivalent experience :Minimal travel requiredWhat We Offer:We believe our team members are our greatest investment which is why we offer a competitive total rewards package designed to support you at every stage of your career and life.
