Position Summary
The Occupational Therapy Program in the Department of Graduate Health Professions School of Health & Human Sciences ( SHHS ) at Indiana University Indianapolis invites applications for a 10-month tenure-track faculty position. The preferred start date is January 2027; however a Fall 2027 start date may be considered depending on candidate availability. Salary will be commensurate with experience and academic credentials. The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to teach and mentor both entry-level and post-professional OTD students. The Tenure rank faculty position will also be responsible for developing an active research agenda in their area of expertise generate external funding engage in online and classroom teaching and provide school and university service. Duties for the Assistant or Associate Professor Position: 40% Teaching 50% Research 10% Service/Engagement The Occupational Therapy Program ranked by US News & World Report as #1 in the state and 23rd in the nation is part of a dynamic academic and research community that includes four programs in the Department of Graduate Health Professions (Occupational Therapy Physical Therapy Nutrition and Dietetics and Physician Assistant) eight departments in the School of Health and Human Sciences ( SHHS ) 15 research labs and institutes and over 400 clinical and community partnerships.
