The College comprises 4 schools with 8 departments:

  • School of Clinical and Rehabilitation Sciences (Departments of Communication Sciences and Disorders Medical Sciences and Physical Therapy Movement and Rehabilitation Sciences)
  • School of Community Health and Behavioral Sciences (Departments of Applied Psychology and Health Sciences)
  • School of Nursing
  • School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (Departments of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences and Pharmacy and Health Systems Sciences)

The Department of Pharmacy and Health Systems Sciences in the School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences has a dynamic group of highly-qualified faculty and staff who are nationally recognized with a range of expertise in both clinical and social/administrative pharmacy and health sciences. About the Opportunity:

The Department invites applications from highly motivated candidates for a Full-time (52-week appointment) non-tenure track faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Clinical Professor with an anticipated start date of July 2026 or until the position is filled.

This position will be campus-based with an emphasisinintegrated skills-focusedlab instruction including simulation and interprofessional education and is not affiliated with an appointment at an external clinical site.

Responsibilities:

This position will oversee educational aspects of the Doctor of Pharmacy degree programs pharmacy practice labs. The faculty member will work closely withthe Schools Office of Academic Affairs and Assessment the Colleges Assistant Dean of Clinical Skills and Simulation Education and department faculty todevelop the skills of pharmacy students in thePharmD curriculumin accordance withaccreditation standards.

The faculty member wouldbe responsible forincorporating innovative pedagogical methods of teaching and learning; developing and providing authentic assessment and feedback; and collaborating on and facilitating interprofessional education opportunities within theBouvéCollege of Health Sciences NortheasternUniversityand surrounding Boston-area faculty member would additionally participate in the oversight of the operational aspects of the laboratory.

The faculty member would also provide didactic teachingparticipatein service to the department and school and engage in scholarship of teaching and learning. All faculty are expected to exemplify a collegial interprofessional academic community characterized by communication transparency and commitment to Northeastern Universitys core values including experiential learning global engagement and commitment to real-world impact.

Qualifications:

  • Terminal degree in Pharmacy or related field
  • Licensed to practice pharmacy in Massachusetts by appointment start date
  • Evidence of teaching excellence and commitment to supporting students
  • Candidates with expertise in high-fidelity simulation interprofessional and experiential educational models are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Additional expertise in artificial intelligence data analytics operations management including course coordination/teaching within lab and pharmacy leadership is welcomed.
  • Candidates seeking appointment at the Associate level should have a minimum of 5 years of academic or related experience with evidence of leadership and scholarly output.

Pay Range:

52-week Salary Ranges: Assistant Clinical Professor: $120000.00 - $139000.00 Associate Clinical Professor: $133000.00 - $152000.00

With the pay range(s) shown above the starting salary will depend on several factors which may include your education experience location knowledge and expertise and skills as well as a pay comparison to similarly-situated employees already in the role.
