Our extraordinary team offers innovative quality services and support that lead to growth and new opportunities for the people we serve and for our : Mon-Fri Rotating On-CallPay rate : $31 - $35Location: Onsite Intermediate Care FacilityAssists the Director of Nursing in planning developing organizing implementing evaluating and directing the day-to-day functions of nursing services in accordance with current rules regulations and guidelines that govern the JOB FUNCTIONSTo perform this job successfully an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below: Directly manages all monthly risk management quality improvement (CQI) and infection control meetings documentation and in-services for the Director of Nursing in determining the staffing needs of the nursing services for rotating all on-call in as floor nurse as daily rounds of the nursing service departments to ensure that all nursing service personnel are performing their work assignments in accordance with acceptable nursing standards. Reports any findings to Director of the Director of Nursing in the development of in-service training programs for the nursing that training programs meet the continuing education requirements which allow licensed personnel to keep their licenses in an active manage all Minimum Data Set (MDS) reports in compliance with state as a positive role model for all staff service providers and the community at other related duties and activities as RESPONSIBILITIESManages assigned personnel. Completes performance evaluations orientation and training. Makes decisions on employee hires transfers promotions salary changes discipline terminations and similar actions. Resolves employee problems within position Knowledge and Skills required by the JobThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or abilities required to perform the job: Education and Experience: LPN/LVNs must complete a high school diploma and nursing vocational program. RNs must have an associates or bachelors degree in years experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferredAn equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed above may be substituted for the above education and experience Licenses and Registrations:Current LPN/LVN licensure or RN certificates/licenses as required by the Borne Pathogen Category:Job requires performance of duties that involve potential for exposure to blood body fluids or tissues. Tasks that do involve exposure are an expectation of Skills and Abilities:N/AOther Requirements:Travel as neededPhysical Requirements:Medium Work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
