Lasell University invites applications for the part-time position of AssistantMens Soccer Coach. Lasell University is a member of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) and the NCAA Division III offering 19 varsity sports 9 for men and 10 for women). Lasell Universitys 50-acre campus is located in Newton MA a community located ten miles west of Boston. The co-educational institution offering professionally oriented baccalaureate and masters degree programs has an enrollment of 1600 full-time undergraduate students.
The Assistant Coach will report to the Head Mens Soccer Coach.
Responsibilities:

The Assistant Coach will assist with all facets of administering a competitive NCAA Division IIIMens Soccer program with a special emphasis on recruitment of appropriate student athletes; specific tasks include but are not limited to: assisting with practice and game preparation; assisting with academic support; assisting with fundraising and insuring the general welfare of the student-athlete. It is required that the person in this position have a thorough and complete understanding of all NCAA Division III philosophies and regulations and will adhere to these at all times. Regular day evening and weekend hours are required.
Qualifications
Qualifications: Bachelors degree. Previous coaching and/or experience at the collegiate level is strongly preferred. Knowledge and compliance with NCAA Division III rules required. The successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to the developmental education of student-athletes a strong work ethic organizational skills computer skills and the ability to interact professionally within the department the campus and the community.
