Assistant Manager (01577) 309 A Mid Rivers Mall Drive

We are seeking a professional and decisive Assistant Manager to join our team at our Mid Rivers Mall location in St. this role you will play a key part in supporting daily operations leading a dedicated team and ensuring an exceptional experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills motivational leadership abilities and a commitment to operational excellence.

• Supervise and mentor team members providing guidance training and performance feedback to foster professional development
• Support store management in achieving sales targets and operational goals through effective planning and execution
• Manage staff scheduling time-off requests and ensure adequate coverage to maintain service standards
• Oversee inventory management stock rotation and merchandising to maintain product availability and store presentation
• Monitor and maintain compliance with company policies safety regulations and local requirements
• Assist in training new employees during onboarding and provide ongoing skill development opportunities
• Address customer concerns and resolve issues professionally to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
• Analyze performance metrics and reports to identify opportunities for improvement and operational efficiency
• Support the management team with administrative tasks documentation and communication
• Maintain a positive professional demeanor and model company values to the team

Qualifications :

• Proven supervisory or assistant management experience in a retail or commercial environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead diverse teams
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and retail management software
• Demonstrated customer service excellence and problem-solving capabilities
• Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising best practices
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
• Conflict resolution and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Preferred: Previous experience in a mall or multi-tenant retail environment
• Preferred: Sales experience and understanding of retail operations
