Position Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Communicate daily information with families regarding the needs and progress of each child.
  • Useappropriate tools to developand create lesson plans
  • Providea variety of developmentally appropriate activities and challenges as the children develop.
  • Comply with OK Department of Human Services Licensing Oklahoma Health Department and USDA-CACF guidelines and requirements

Essential Job Functions:

  • Planthe daily program for children with an assigned development group which will encourage each childs growth in the areas of emotional social cognitive and physical development.
  • Establishand maintaina safe and healthy learning environment.
  • Createan environment in which children can learn in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the church and center.
  • Treateach child with dignity and respect.
  • Participatein all staff training sessions meetings and programs as requested by the Director and as sponsored by the center. Each teacher is responsible for completing their required training hours each year
  • Maintainprofessional conduct in working with parents and staff as well as visitors and the general public.
  • Performother duties of center staff as required. Including but not limited to cleaning cooking and driving in temporary absences of the people in these positions as requested.
