Assistant Innkeeper & General Manager

Blair Hill Inn is seeking an Assistant Innkeeper to join our close-knit team for the 2026 season. This is a hands-on role that is perfect for someone who enjoys variety takes pride in a job well done and thrives in an environment where no two days are the same.

As the only Relais & Châteaux property in Maine Blair Hill Inn is recognized among the worlds finest independently owned hotels and restaurants. Every stay is built around thoughtful personalized service exceptional cuisine and an authentic sense of place. We are looking for someone who shares our passion for hospitality and wants to help create unforgettable experiences for every guest.

What Youll Do

Your mornings will begin helping deliver an exceptional breakfast experience before transitioning into coordinating guest departures and preparing the inn for new arrivals. Throughout the day youll work alongside our housekeeping and hospitality teams to ensure every guest room and every interaction reflects the standards our guests have come to expect.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing warm personalized service during breakfast.

• Welcoming guests and assisting with departures and arrivals.

• Coordinating daily housekeeping priorities and inspecting guest rooms.

• Ensuring rooms are beautifully prepared for each check-in.

• Maintaining the appearance of guest spaces throughout the property.

• Anticipating guest needs and helping resolve requests with professionalism and care.

• Supporting teammates wherever needed to create a seamless guest experience.

What Were Looking For

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys taking care of people and finds satisfaction in creating exceptional experiences through thoughtful service and attention to detail.

You should have:

• A naturally warm friendly and welcoming personality.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• The ability to multitask and stay calm during busy mornings.

• A positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever help is needed.

• The ability to work mornings weekends and holidays during the season.

• Hospitality restaurant hotel or customer service experience is preferred but we value attitude work ethic and a willingness to learn just as much.

Qualifications :

- 5 years of hotel & hospitality experience
