Job Summary
Hazen and Sawyer is seeking an entry-level engineer for our Cleveland office. As part of our design and process teams you will work on water and wastewater projects including drinking water/wastewater/reuse treatment facility upgrades conveyance systems and stormwater management

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing engineering deliverables including sampling studies condition assessments process modeling hydraulics and design reports
- Work directly with senior level engineering team providing mentoring opportunities to learn and develop
- Manage data for process modeling and design
- Attend client and internal project management meetings
- Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors to select equipment
- Support multiple projects from planning through construction
- Participate in fieldwork and site visits (mostly in-state)
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in environmental or civil engineering
- Strong interest in the water/wastewater industry
- Strong communication skills self-motivation organization and attention to detail
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- 0-2 years of relevant experience within the water/wastewater industry
Preferred Qualifications:
- EIT certification
- Advanced degree (Masters or Doctorate) in environmental civil or chemical engineering
- Conducts self-quality reviews before submitting work for additional QA/QC
