Job Title: Assistant DON Labor & Delivery
Location:Brooklyn NY
Type: Contract
Pay Rate: Up to $4036/Weekly
Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift 7:30 AM 4:00 PM MondayFriday 37.5 Hours/Week

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Assistant DON Labor & Delivery for an exciting Travel or Local job in Brooklyn NY.
Plan and develop programs to improve patient care quality and staff performance
Monitor nursing performance and patient care outcomes across Labor & Delivery units
Collaborate with nurse managers to assess operations and implement corrective actions
Assist with performance improvement initiatives and staff supervision
Maintain systems for tracking medication errors and counseling documentation
Support operational oversight for Labor & Delivery nursing services
Ensure compliance with nursing standards facility policies and regulatory requirements
Promote communication between nursing leadership and clinical staff
Perform additional supervisory and administrative duties as assigned

Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Nursing required
Active RN License required (NYSED Primary Source Verification required)
BLS Certification required
Minimum 7 years nursing experience required
Minimum 5 years supervisory experience required
Strong leadership communication and performance management skills required
Labor & Delivery leadership experience preferred
Masters Degree in Nursing preferred
Experience in hospital-based nursing operations preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced leadership environment required
