What We Are Looking For
The Assistant Director of the B Association assists with daily operations and relationship-building with former student athletes to ensure the associations continued growth and success in engaging connecting and honoring the legacy of all Baylor Letterwinners. Responsibilities include assisting the Executive Director in stewarding alum relationships managing administrative operations coordinating membership programs and events supporting current student-athletes and enhancing association brand and visibility.
A bachelors degree with less than 1 year of experience is required.
All applicants must be eligible to work in the US on a full time basis.
What Will You Do
- Support collaborative efforts between the B Association Athletics Department the Baylor Bear Foundation and University Advancement to cultivate and network with Baylor Letterwinners
- Steward relationships with former Baylor student-athletes and provide first-class customer service to alumni friends and donors of Baylor University
- Provide administrative support for the daily office functions to include budget management database management annual membership dues and benefits tracking and constituent inquiries and correspondence
- Assist the Executive Director with all B Association events to include the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony football gameday Letterwinners Lounge and tailgating experiences social events and sport-specific alumni events
- Collaborate with internal and external units for mentoring and programming opportunities with current student-athletes
- Manage the B Association social media efforts and platforms
- Collaborate with the Executive Director to prepare for the B Association Board of Directors quarterly meetings (e.g. initiatives financial report endowed scholarship report relationship management growth platforms)
- Assist the Executive Director to promote membership growth (especially amongst recent letter winners) and increased visibility and brand of the Association
- Other duties as assigned
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylors mission
- Ability to comply with University policies
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
