Assistant Director of Admissions

Pay Range: $45000 - 50000 per year

Location: Must be willing to travel to three campus locations: Crown Point East Chicago and Gary

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support and participate in on-campus and off-campus recruitment activities including college fairs high school visits information sessions and community events including evenings and weekends as needed.

• Recruit prospective students by promoting Ivy Tech programs services and opportunities to increase inquiries applications and enrollment conversions.

• Manage and maintain prospective student data through the Colleges Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system ensuring effective communication and follow-up throughout the enrollment process.

• Generate analyze and interpret reports from IvyAnalytics and other enrollment systems to evaluate recruitment effectiveness identify trends assess conversion rates and support datainformed decision-making.

• Monitors assigned recruitment territories schools events and student populations to increase enrollment and improve student engagement outcomes.

• Utilize enrollment and recruitment data to identify opportunities address recruitment gaps and develop targeted outreach strategies. Build and maintain collaborative relationships with K-12 partners community organizations colleges and other stakeholders to support enrollment goals.

• Collaborate with campus departments and statewide partners to coordinate recruitment initiatives and student engagement efforts.

• Assist in the development and distribution of admissions and recruitment communications and materials.

• Ensure compliance with FERPA and maintain confidentiality of student information.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate degree required.

• Minimum of one to two years of relevant experience is preferred. Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects.

• Must possess excellent people skills including working successfully with diverse populations including (but not limited to) college and school personnel teachers and prospective students.

• Must possess skills and experience in public speaking.

• Previous computer experience is necessary.

• Must possess a willingness and an ability to travel and work a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends.
