COMPENSATION RANGE:52000.00 - 55000.00 USD per year

Position Summary:

The Assistant Director Athletic Ticketing is a part of the overall campus ticketing office which falls under the oversight of the Finance &Administration Division. This position is unique in that it functions in partas a member of the Athletics sales and marketing team. Responsibilities forthis position include:

A. Manages the Nottingham and Bank of Colorado Arena at Butler Hancock Ticket Offices including hiring training and supervising Ticket Office staff for ticketed athletic events.
B. Works with Athletics staff in the promotion marketing and delivery of special ticket promotions and general customer sales.
C. Maintains patron databases for Football Mens and Womens Basketball Volleyball Wrestling and other athletic events and activities as needed.
D. Creates revises and maintains reports drawn from all ticketing sources including on-line phone walk-up comped and group sales.
E. Assists in the overall management of the Campus Commons Ticket Office and helps to cover Performing and Visual (PVA) and /or Student Life events as needed.

Job Duties:

1-Ticket Office Management: Manage Ticket Office locations for all ticketed athletic events including the hiring training and supervising of student ticket agents. Provide event season and other specified custom reports to appropriate constituents. Coordinate with facility personnel for the preparation of and training for game day gate staff. (30% Essential)
2-Coordination and Communication: Serve as the direct ticket office connection to the Athletic many respects this position will function as part of the Athletics marketing and sales team regularly attending Athletics staff meetings. Lead athletics in the use Audience View Business Intelligence for the effective reach to current and potential patrons. Customize and distribute regularly scheduled and spontaneous reports as needed to Athletic administration. Provide budget reports to Executive Director of Campus Services relating to income generated by ticket sales. (30% Essential)
3-Customer Service: Implementation of operating practices to ensure the delivery of quality customer service to the campus community and the public through effective communication with students faculty staff visitors and guests and responding in a timely manner to customer concerns and problems. Communicate and if necessary disburse tickets to opponents constituency. Also responsible for developing positive customer and public relations with the campus community and external constituent groups. (20% Essential)
4-Personnel Management: Provide effective management and supervision of student ticketing agents. Development and implementation of student employee training to enhance workplace skills in support of quality customer service and the effective delivery of the ticketing program. (20% Essential)

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree required.

One (1) year working in ticketing or event management. Minimum experience required. Experience in student employee supervision and inworking with staff of diverse backgrounds. Demonstrated written and verbalcommunications skills; knowledge of Microsoft office systems.
