Job Summary

The Josef Korbel School seeks an Assistant Dean of External Programs for the period from July 1 2026 - June 30 2028. Compensation will be $20000.

Position Summary

Responsibilities for the Assistant Dean of External Programs include:

  • Advise the Dean on all matters related to Korbels exchange abroad and external institution partnerships
  • Oversee the marketing selection programming and experience of all current and future student curricular partnerships
  • Strategically manage existing partnerships to expand opportunities and participation. As needed develop and establish new partnerships and opportunities with other academic institutions for students and faculty
  • Ensure all elements of external institutional partnerships are properly codified and administered
  • Engage at the School and University level with offices partners and institutional actors that are related to the establishment and execution of external programs on behalf of Korbel as required

  • Appointed faculty of the Korbel School

Working Environment

  • Standard office environment.
  • Unexpected interruptions occur often and stress level is moderate to high.
  • Noise level is quiet to moderate.

Physical Activities

  • Ability to work in front of a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Occasionally required to move about the office/campus.

Work Schedule
Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Salary Grade Number:
The salary grade for the position is UC.

Compensation

Compensation will be $20000.

The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate departmental budget availability internal salary equity considerations and available market information but not based on a candidates sex or any other protected status.
