The Assistant Dean for Finance & Administration is responsible for all complex administrative functions and business operations within the College of Education and Social Services ( CESS ). The Assistant Dean acts as the chief financial manager and the chief human resource manager for the College accountable for directing and managing financial budget planning administrative human resources technology space planning and business management activities to support the Colleges Strategic Alignment Plan ( SAP ) UVMs Green Gold and Bold strategic plan and values of Our Common Ground. The Assistant Dean is accountable for a team of professional staff managing finance HR and operational functions including the Title IVE /Child Welfare Training Partnership Director. The Assistant Dean is a member of the CESS Deans Leadership team and reports directly to the Dean.

Demonstrated ability to provide consultative leadership Experience in financial decision making that impacts the institutions mission Supervision of multiple professional positions Higher education administration experience
