Job Description:

The Assistant Dean provides senior leadership for the Health Science Campus and the University as a whole across a broad spectrum of responsibilities.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Academic Advisor for 700 medical students
Career Counseling and Advising including Medical Specialty Decision-Making Curriculum Vitae and Personal Statement Guidance and Review Program Selection and Interviewing Skills
Medical Student Performance Evaluations for senior medical students
Orientation for incoming medical students
Co-Advisor Gold Humanism Honor Society
Co-Advisor Alpha Omega Alpha
Medical Student Awards Committee
Graduation Committee
Summer Internship/Preceptorship Programs

Minimum Qualifications:

1.M.D./D.O. or Ph.D. degree required
higher education administrative experience working with students.
