Job Summary

SummaryAssists Controller and/or CFO with the financial affairs of the organization and with preparation of financial analyses of operations for the guidance of management. Directs and supervises the financial services staff in accounting and financial reporting/analysis FunctionsFinancial/Accounting ResponsibilitiesPrepares and analyzes reports that summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income expense and earnings based upon past present and expected operations and risks. This may include: summary reports on project progress monthly overhead reports balance sheet financial statement income statement and approves journal in various internal financial financial projection owner and prepares quarterly projections and annual plan in concert with Operations and communicates to management variances between projections and compliance with accounting policies procedures and internal Customer Relations Builds effective relationships with internal customers that reflect and support company core values and meets or exceeds the customers participates in industry client and community relations to enhance company to continually seek feedback and improve services/tools/department deliverables to internal customersCulture Leadership and Employee DevelopmentPromotes our Creed. Communicates our vision and purpose through Service Talent and as a role model and promotes professional in and supports company training programs and commits to the development of department staff and of Experience and KnowledgeBachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field preferred and 7 years of experience preferably in the construction industry. Extensive knowledge/experience in U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and develops direct reports while prioritizing and delegating significant responsibilities to solid presentation skills and verbal/written the ability to organize people tools and equipment to orchestrate multiple activities at proficiency using a personal computer (PC) and company communication tools such as email internet accounting applications and Microsoft products (e.g. Word Excel Office Outlook)Preferred QualificationsCPA license.
