The Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in providing financial insights and support to drive strategic decision-making. This position involves analyzing financial data preparing reports forecasting budgeting and working closely with various departments to ensure financial objectives are met. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills attention to detail and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and modeling to support business decisions.
Prepare and present detailed financial reports including variance analysis trend analysis and financial forecasts.
Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting forecasting and long-term planning.
Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and monitor performance against budget.
Ensure compliance with GAAP SOX and company financial policies
Manage forecast process to provide accurate financial projections anticipate issues and implement countermeasures
Analyze financial performance and identify areas for improvement cost savings and efficiency gains.
Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis.
Monitor key financial metrics and KPIs and report on financial performance to stakeholders.
Assist in the preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.
Develop partnerships with operations to assist in the achievement of productivity initiatives.
Support ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as required.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial analysis preferably in a senior or similar role.
Strong proficiency in financial modeling forecasting and budgeting.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial software (e.g. Oracle Hyperion Onestream).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Cost Accounting experience preferred
Experience in Manufacturing industry is a plus.
