Job Description

• Lead the monthly quarterly and annual financial close process while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee general ledger operations financial reporting journal entries and reconciliations.
• Serve as the technical accounting expert for GAAP revenue recognition (ASC 606) and cost accounting.
• Manage annual external audits and maintain year-round audit readiness.
• Lead accounting policy development internal controls and process documentation.
• Oversee inventory manufacturing cost accounting fixed assets and contract accounting.
• Partner with operations finance and program leadership on financial reporting and contract performance.
• Play a key leadership role in ERP implementation and accounting system improvements.
• Develop mentor and lead members of the accounting team.
• Drive automation efficiency and continuous process improvements across the finance function.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
• CPA or CA designation required.
• 8 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Manufacturing cost accounting and inventory accounting experience.
• Experience leading annual financial statement audits.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience using modern ERP systems.
• Leadership experience managing accounting staff.
• Strong analytical organizational and communication skills.
• U.S. person status required with ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
