Job Summary
Summary:
Skidmore Colleges Athletics and Recreation Department invites applicants for a full-time regular (10 month) M/W Swimming Assistant Coach Position. Responsibilities will include assisting the Head M/W Swimming & Diving Coach in planning organizing and implementing aspects of a Division III mens and womens swimming program including practice and meet preparation on-deck coaching team travel recruitment of prospective student-athletes fund raising and other duties as assigned. The position will also include serving as a physical activities course instructor and equipment room responsibilities during the academic year.
Minimum Qualifications:A Bachelors Degree or equivalent with a minimum of three years collegiate swimming coaching and/or competitive experience. Candidates should posses strong organizational skills communication and basic computer skills. Current CPR and AED Certification.
Preferred Qualifications: Lifeguard Certification or willingness to obtain. WSI Certification or willingness to obtain.
Pay Rate:$36000
