Job Summary

Glenbrook North High Schools Athletics Departmentis currently seeking an Assistant Athletic Trainer.

The Assistant Athletic Trainer will work closely with the Head Athletic Trainer and one other full-time Assistant Athletic Trainer in a well-developed comprehensive athletic healthcare program for a large suburban high school.

This is a full-time position with one month off during the summer and no teaching required.

Hours will vary Monday through Friday plus varying hours on Saturdays during the school year. Candidates must be flexible with hours to help provide medical care for all home athletic events and practices.

The athletic training facility features an extensive array of therapeutic modalities and strength and conditioning equipment. The well-established and respected program is supported by the administration and community.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree (Masters Degree preferred)
  • BOC-certified and Illinois-licensed or eligible
  • Previous high school experience is preferred
  • Strong background in functional rehab is desired
