Asset Protection Specialist
(12/noon pm 8 pm M-F)
About the role
The Asset Protection Specialist has a thorough knowledge of KnitWell Groups security and life safety procedures and is responsible for supporting the protection of our enterprise assets which include associates product and property. This individual must maintain company and departmental policy and procedural expertise and ongoing action readiness for incidents related to life safety and Asset Protection within the organization and provides detailed reporting to various staff and support departments.
The impact you can have
- Greet engage and assist associates vendors and visitors upon arrival.
- Responsible for access control to our properties by verifying that associates are on approved entry list and visitors/vendors are entered into the visitors log.
- Create ID badges and assign appropriate security clearance.
- Maintains thorough knowledge of/and monitors facilities CCTV and access control systems.
- Answers and transfers internal/external phone calls.
- Responsible for initiating internal/external investigations based off daily inspections findings and/or information received from other sources/information.
- Responsible for creating incident/injury report and applying first aid in times of need.
- Build productive business relationships and demonstrate an understanding of each function.
- Make knowledgeable and informed decisions based on the departments P&Ps.
- Supports AP management by completing various Asset Protection vendor management responsibilities from the corporate office.
- Performs other administrative duties as need by Asset Protection Management.
Physical requirements:
- Ability to walk the building for up to an hour at a time
- Ability to utilize staircases
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
Youll bring to the role
- At least 6 months experience in Asset Protection / Loss Prevention or Corporate Security preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Primary shift is 12/noon 8 pm Monday through Friday.
- Self-motivated; must be able to work with little or no supervision during shift.
- Excellent organizational skills and effective written and verbal communication skills.
- First Aid CPR AED certification preferred.
- Possess basic Microsoft skills (i.e. Office Excel Outlook Word and PowerPoint

This PM-Shift position works on-site Monday Friday consistent with the needs of the businessat our Lane Bryant office location in New Albany OH. There can be occasional on-call or alternative shift coverage required.
