Atlantic Pacific Companies one of the Southeasts fastest-growing multifamily investment firms is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Asset Management Analyst to join our team. This position reports directly to the Asset Manager and will support the Asset Management team in overseeing a multifamily portfolio throughout the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.

Job Description

The Asset Management Analyst will serve as a key member of the Asset Management team providing financial analysis reporting and operational support across a portfolio of multifamily assets. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an analytical detail-oriented professional to build a strong foundation in commercial real estate asset management while contributing to portfolio performance and strategic initiatives.

• Build maintain and update property-level and portfolio-level financial models including cash flow projections return analyses and operational scenarios.
• Analyze financial statements rent rolls operating reports and other property performance data.
• Assist with annual budgeting forecasting and performance reporting processes.
• Conduct market research and competitive analyses including tracking rents occupancy concessions and leasing trends.
• Prepare reports dashboards presentations and reporting packages for senior leadership capital partners and lenders.
• Monitor capital improvement projects and track performance against approved budgets and timelines.
• Support acquisition and disposition due diligence efforts through data collection and financial analysis.
• Partner with property management teams to support operational and financial objectives across the portfolio.
• Assist with special projects and ad hoc analyses as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Real Estate Finance Accounting Economics or a related field.
• Zero to three (03) years of experience in commercial real estate multifamily housing asset management financial analysis or a related field. Relevant internship experience will be considered.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including formulas pivot tables and data analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Familiarity with Yardi RealPage or similar property management and reporting systems is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
