Assembly Technician
Location: Katy TX 77494
Schedule: MondayFriday
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join a growing manufacturing team. This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on work following detailed instructions and maintaining high-quality standards in a production environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble products according to production work instructions and specifications.
- Read and interpret production orders Bills of Materials (BOMs) work instructions and quality plans.
- Use fixed and variable measuring equipment to verify product quality.
- Locate identify and retrieve components needed for assembly.
- Package and label finished products according to company standards.
- Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of workstations and equipment.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
- Understand and adhere to the companys Quality Policy and Quality Objectives.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
- Ability to read write and understand English.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions correspondence and procedures.
- Basic math skills including addition subtraction multiplication and division.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
