Assembly Team Lead (3pm Shift)

Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Assembly Team Lead to support and coordinate daily operations of our Assembly Line. Reporting to the Area Supervisor you will lead a team of associates ensure adherence to quality standards and maintain efficiency across processes. Your expertise will play a key role in training new team members and maintaining operational excellence through lean manufacturing principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Area Supervisor to manage and prioritize daily assembly line activities.
- Be proficient in all departmental processes; act as a trainer and mentor for new hires and cross-training initiatives.
- Implement and promote BPS (Business Process Standards) principles for continuous improvement and process optimization.
- Ensure timely delivery of components and finished units to meet production schedules.
- Read and interpret work instructions product drawings and special handling sheets (SHS).
- Use manual/power tools and measuring devices to assemble appliances and perform functional tests.
- Inspect finished products for quality identify defects and manage non-conforming materials appropriately.
- Rework units as needed to meet quality standards.
- Support a safe and organized work environment through adherence to best practices in material handling
Qualifications :
- Required:Â High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Manufacturing experience in assembly and/or CNC machine operation preferred.
- Must be able to coordinate tasks of others (1015 people).
- Must be able to speak read and write English.
- Must be able to work overtime when requested.
- Must be flexible to work in other departments when requested.
- Ability to read and apply work instructions follow directions understand and execute safety and quality procedures.
