Job Summary
Job Overview
Assembly I operates and maintains stations to assemble align and adjust fabricated parts components or units according to specifications and follows established manufacturing procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Uses hand tools power tools and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units.
- Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances product specifications and quality standards.
- May repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels.
- Attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks consistently.
- Must be cross-trained and able to support all Assembly I roles.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to use and accurately read measuring devices (tape measures).
- Ability to use hand tools (hammer wrench level etc.).
- Ability to follow blueprints.
- Ability to read and interpret Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ability to use a computer with basic proficiency (data entry).
