Assembly Flex Line Leader 1st Shift

Job Description:

• Lead and support daily assembly department operations
• Establish production plan that relates to the actual shipping times
• Communicate and execute all change overs with General Associates and Finished Goods (FGA)
• All end of shift information is accurate and recorded
• Train and assist associates on departmental procedures and work instructions
• Complete required production quality and assist in troubleshooting process issues
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and departmental goals
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or assembly process experience
• Prior leadership or training experience
• Knowledge of quality systems and process controls

Communication Skills

Must be able to communicate effectively with associates supervisors engineering quality and management to ensure production quality safety and environmental requirements are met.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
• Frequently bend stoop reach and perform repetitive motions
• Lift carry push and pull materials weighing up to 55 pounds
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including chemical-resistant gloves aprons face shields and safety glasses
• Ability to distinguish colors and read gauges meters labels and process documentation
