Job Summary
Assembler
Schedule: MondayFriday some weekends 6:00 AM until finish
Position Summary
Entrylevel role performing repetitive assembly tasks to massproduce products such as windows doors trusses panels or stairs.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Place parts in specified positions and assemble components
- Fasten parts using bolts clips screws cement or other methods
- Cut materials to required measurements
- Remove defective products as needed
- Operate machines for forcefitting or fastening
- Work at various stations based on production needs
- Adapt to changing tasks as different product models are produced
- Clean equipment and work areas following safety procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities
None.
Minimum Requirements
- No formal education or experience required
- Carpentry experience is helpful
Competencies
- Ability to read and follow simple instructions
- Basic math skills; ability to read a tape measure
- Ability to solve routine problems and follow detailed instructions
- Willingness to work overtime when needed
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- Continuous standing walking reaching and use of hands
- Occasional climbing balancing stooping kneeling or crawling
- Lift/move up to 25 lbs continuously 50 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs with assistance
- Requires close distance peripheral vision depth perception and focus adjustment
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts airborne particles extreme temperatures weather vibration and electrical risk
- Loud work environment; PPE such as ear and eye protection required
