Job Summary
We are looking for four (4) second shift assemblers for our customer located in Solon. This position is a contract to hire opportunity after 90 days or 480 hours!
SHIFT TIMES:
1st Shift: Monday to Friday - $15.15 per hour and OT
- 1st Shift (5a-3:15pm M-F)
2nd Shift: Monday to Friday - $16.67 per hour and OT
- 2nd Shift (3pm-1:15a M-F)
Our customer is an industry leader and major developer and provider of fluid system products assemblies and services for the oil and gas power petrochemical alternative fuels and semiconductor industries.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
To assemble and package product within the assembly department; utilizing the assembly and test equipment and standard work provided. The associate must be customer service oriented by taking proactive approaches to the job.
- Performs job functions under the guidance of the trainer.
- Understands what role this job plays in the general strategies of the company.
- Understands & follows the safety and housekeeping standards in their work area and daily and weekly maintenance on the equipment.
- Operates assembly equipment under normal conditions in the trainers absence.
- Aware of proper part handling procedures & completes necessary daily documentation.
- Communicates with other team members to complete assigned tasks.
- Requests assistance in a timely manner.
- Retains basic information related to the job.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Candidates should demonstrate reliability and have transportation.
- Able to read and follow work instructions & able to recognize functional and cosmetic defects.
- Responsible for the assembly testing and packaging of product.
PREFERRED:
Assembly experience and knowledge of the product / process.

Cell phones must be turned off and off the floor except on breaks/lunch
Must always wear safety goggles- constant noise with machines running
