What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)

  1. Assemble adjust and install prefabricated parts to manufacture air handling systems
  2. Perform the various adjustments settings and fine-tuning operations necessary for assembly
  3. Interpret blueprints assembly drawings bills of material and engineering revisions accurately
  4. Assemble and install mechanical structural and modular system components including fan sections
  5. coils dampers filter systems access sections electrical mounting components and related assembly
  6. Independently assemble complete custom air handling units from start to finish using engineeringdrawings specifications and build orders
  7. Assist with assembly of fan sections coil sections filter sections dampers and related air handlingsystem components
  8. Earn and apply proper assembly fastening sealing gasketing and fit-up techniques required forair handling equipment
  9. Utilize hand tools pneumatic tools measuring devices and standard assembly equipment safely andeffectively
  10. Operate overhead cranes forklifts man lifts and material handling equipment safely and inaccordance with company procedures
  11. Perform basic troubleshooting and resolve simple assembly or fit-up issues while escalating morecomplex issues appropriately
  12. Maintain clean organized and safe work areas in accordance with company standards
  13. Participate in cross-training activities to develop skills across multiple assembly stations andprocesses
  14. Follow all company safety policies procedures and quality standards
  15. Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist in improving assembly efficiency and workflow
  16. Perform additional duties as assigned

What we are looking for (Required/Ideal Experience Skills Education)

  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn mechanical assembly processes
  • Ability to follow work instructions assembly drawings and verbal direction accurately
  • Ability to perform basic assembly fastening sealing and fit-up activities
  • Ability to identify and communicate basic assembly issues or material concerns appropriately
  • Ability to safely utilize hand tools pneumatic tools measuring devices and standard assembly equipment
  • Ability to operate overhead cranes forklifts man lifts and material handling equipment safely and effectively
  • Ability to develop blueprint reading and assembly interpretation skills
  • Ability to learn modular assembly processes and air handling system configurations
  • Ability to maintain quality and attention to detail while meeting developing productivity expectations
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
  • Ability to adapt to changing production schedules and work assignments
  • Ability to maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
  • Strong commitment to safety quality teamwork attendance and continuous improvement
  • Willingness to participate in cross-training and skill development activities

Required Experience & Skills

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous manufacturing mechanical assembly construction fabrication or industrial experience preferred
  • Basic mechanical aptitude required
  • Previous experience using hand tools pneumatic tools or measuring devices preferred
  • Ability to learn blueprint reading and assembly processes required
  • Forklift crane or man lift certification preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment required
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality standards required
