Job Summary
Eatons ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Assembler I (1st Shift) - Seismic. The hourly rate for this position is $20.47 per hour.
CORE HOURS: 6AM - 2:30PM.

What youll do:
Perform simple repetitive bench assembly of parts and components.
May use bolts screws clips and other fastening devices.
Work under close supervision and may work from models samples or simple diagrams.
Pick pack and pull orders in an efficient and accurate manner.
Troubleshoot and resolve problems as they arise.
Keeps work areas clean and safe.
Supports all facility Continuous Improvement and LEAN initiatives including but not limited to:
Maintain 5-S (sort set in order shine standardize sustain) throughout shop floor and office areas.
Track and sustain all visual management tools such as but not limited to: layered audits Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) boards and any additional LEAN tools that are deemed necessary to provide direction goals and status to the shop floor.
Encourage support and actively participate in Kaizen improvements and events throughoutthe facility department and area of responsibility.
Other various duties and responsibilities as may be assigned
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Reno NV will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Position Criteria:
Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal format in English.
Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift.
Require fine manipulation of hands with repetitive motion.
Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure.
Additional Information:
Physical Demands:
Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift.
Able to regularly lift 35 pounds without assistance. Occasionally lift more than 35 lbs with assistance.
Exposure to high noise level (ear protection may be required in some areas).
Exposure to high traffic areas with forklift activity.
Exposure to cold/heat weather conditions while shipping doors are open.
Work environment exposes to oils lubricants and solvents
