Job Description -
- Steel toe shoes or composite shoes are required for this job assignment.
- High School diploma or GED is required for this job assignment.
Position Summary
- The Assembler I is responsible for assembling and testing subassemblies for the Blister production line including XF and Ultra machines.
- This position follows Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPIs) to ensure products are built safely accurately and to quality standards.
- Daily work assignments and priorities are provided by the Team Lead.
Responsibilities
- Follow MPIs to assemble and test mechanical and electrical subassemblies.
- Route wires and perform wire preparation including stripping wires and installing pins and ferrules.
- Use hand and measuring tools such as torque wrenches screwdrivers drills calipers polarity checkers and presses.
- Perform quality checks and basic testing of completed assemblies.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Complete assigned tasks according to production schedules and priorities.
- Work overtime as needed to support production requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and assembly procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand tools.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks and work with small components.
