Are you an Aspiring Educational Psychologist looking to gain practical school-based experience before progressing into Educational Psychology training postgraduate study or a career supporting vulnerable children

Ribbons & Reeves are recruiting ambitious graduates to work in schools across Camden supporting pupils with additional learning social emotional behavioural and mental health needs.

This Aspiring Educational Psychologist role is ideal for a Psychology graduate or a graduate from a related discipline who wants to understand how vulnerable children are supported in school before taking the next step towards Educational Psychology.

Aspiring Educational Psychologist The Role

Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs.

Support children with SEND SEMH behavioural needs and barriers to learning.

Work closely with teachers SENCOs pastoral teams and external professionals.

Help pupils access learning build confidence regulate emotions and stay engaged in school.

Gain hands-on experience with intervention work behaviour support safeguarding and inclusive classroom practice.

Work full-time Monday to Friday during term-time from September 2026.

Aspiring Educational Psychologist Ideal Candidate

A graduate with a Psychology degree or closely related subject.

A clear interest in becoming an Educational Psychologist.

Motivated to gain school-based experience supporting vulnerable children before further training.

Calm resilient patient and confident working with pupils who may present challenging behaviour.

Previous experience with children young people SEN SEMH or vulnerable individuals is desirable.

Able to commit to a full-time term-time role in Camden from September 2026.
