Asphalt Plant Operator Spartanburg, SC

• Operate and monitor asphalt plant controls to produce hot mix asphalt according to specifications
• Adjust plant settings to maintain proper material mix temperature and output levels
• Perform routine inspections troubleshooting and basic maintenance on plant equipment
• Coordinate with plant personnel truck drivers and paving crews to ensure efficient operations
• Monitor material inventory levels and communicate supply needs
• Maintain production records and complete daily reports
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and all safety standards

• Experience operating an asphalt plant or working in a similar industrial environment
• Strong understanding of plant systems controls and production processes
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues
• Experience with plant automation systems preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
• Flexibility to work varied hours including nights and weekends

• Physically demanding role including climbing lifting up to 60 lbs and working at heights
• Exposure to outdoor conditions heat dust noise and heavy equipment
• Use of PPE required at all times
