ASIC NPI Planning Manager, Amazon Leo

ASIC NPI (New Product Introduction) leads the transition of complex semiconductor products from design to high-volume manufacturing (HVM). Responsibilities include driving cross-functional strategies for engineering validation manufacturing yield supply chain readiness and cost optimization ensuring on-time delivery of samples and production ramps.

Key job responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and own the end-to-end silicon NPI strategy aligning with Product Management Engineering and Operations teams to meet product lifecycle milestones (EVT DVT PVT)

Manufacturing & Yield: Drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) requirements. Optimize wafer fabrication assembly and test processes to maximize yield and reduce costs including in advanced packaging.

Supply Chain & Ops Readiness: Oversee vendor management contract manufacturer (CM) strategy and material procurement to ensure capacity and timely engineering build schedules.

Program Execution: Lead cross-functional teams to resolve technical and supply constraints during the NPI phase ensuring a seamless transfer to mass production

Quality & Reliability: Guarantee that products meet quality standards and reliability specifications before product release in conjunction with the Quality team

- Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Experience working in a large team or fast-paced corporate environment
- 7 years in semiconductor operations NPI or product engineering with a proven track record in high-volume silicon manufacturing
- Deep understanding of silicon wafer fab 3D packaging or complex ASIC development

- Masters degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
