Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Center for Sight ASC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a surgical setting. This position requires strong clinical skills excellent communication abilities and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assessing planning implementing and evaluating patient care plans
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records
- Monitoring and recording patient vital signs
- Assisting with surgical procedures as needed
- Educating patients and their families on post-operative care
- Ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality patient care
Education and Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Basic computer knowledge and skills
- Has a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State
- Current BCLS certification
- Current ACLS certification preferred or basic EKG or Arrhythmia identification certification
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
- This is a Full-time position located in Sarasota FL.
Physical Demands:
Visual and hearing senses must be adequate to communicate read printout and other reports distinguish colors ability to focus and depth perception. Manual dexterity to handle feel and manipulate supplies and equipment.
