AS400 SYNON Tech Lead

We are seeking an experienced AS/400 (IBM i) Technical Lead with strong expertise in Modern RPG SYNON OS/400 and DB2/400 application development. The ideal candidate will lead a team of 3-4 developers drive end-to-end project execution collaborate with business stakeholders and deliver scalable enterprise applications in an Agile environment.

The role involves technical leadership application design coding unit testing customer interaction and mentoring team members while ensuring successful delivery of business requirements. Experience in PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management) environments is a plus.

• Lead a team of 3-4 developers in AS/400 application development projects.
• Design develop and maintain applications using Modern RPG and SYNON.
• Work closely with customers and business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
• Design build configure and enhance business applications.
• Perform coding code reviews unit testing and production support.
• Ensure successful project execution and adherence to quality standards.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint delivery activities.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
• Troubleshoot application issues and optimize system performance.
