Overview
A national union academic and workforce training center is seeking an experienced Artificial Intelligence Instructor to teach a 12-week hands-on program focused on generative AI creative technology and AI-assisted media production. The instructor will develop and deliver engaging in-person lessons for students and working professionals across construction engineering electrical and building-management industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a 12-week course syllabus
- Teach practical generative AI and creative-production workflows
- Lead classroom demonstrations workshops and project critiques
- Mentor students and provide actionable feedback
- Explain technical concepts in an accessible way
- Cover ethical legal and professional considerations involving AI-generated content
- Collaborate with program leadership to maintain curriculum quality
Required Qualifications
- Professional teaching training or instructional experience
- Hands-on experience with generative AI tools and workflows
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to teach both creative concepts and technical processes
- Ability to work on-site in Los Angeles
Preferred Experience
- ComfyUI Flux LoRA training ChatGPT Gemini Veo Luma Seedance or similar platforms
- Generative image and video workflows
- Photoshop Premiere Nuke After Effects or Fusion
- AI-assisted storytelling visual development or media production
- Engineering Technology construction engineering or related industry exposure
