ARTA Communications Coordinator

This position is responsible for the various communication activities and products of the Arkansas Retired Teachers Association. Job responsibilities include: 1. Provide communication and administrative support to the ARTA board of directors and staff area councils state committees and local units as needed.2. Demonstrate familiarity with website design/maintenance email marketing desktop publishing graphic design and other software/tools used by the association.3. Coordinate all ARTA communications channels and products (i.e. newsletters social media website and periodic email blasts). 4. Have general knowledge of the legislative process ATRS retirement system state and other insurance is a part-time position. Some work may be done remotely. Hours will vary.
