Job Summary
IHA Inc. would like to hire a military veteran as a full-time Art Installer with the potential to learn to do project management.
1)Installing mainly hanging pictures but also mirrors other art signage window treatments wall vinyl and wall protection systems.
2)Project Managingthe installation of furniture fixtures & equipment (FF&E). This involves overseeing movers unloading trucks of FF&E and ultimately making sure all of it ends up put together and placed correctly.
We are looking for a candidate who is committed to excellence; able to learn quickly and problem solve. We will provide training for you to take advantage of the opportunity to advance at IHA.
Our office is in New Berlin; however we work in residences and commercial buildings in Wisconsin and all over the U.S. Commercial buildings consist of hospitals clinics; assisted living; offices hotels restaurants and even sports stadiums/arenas.
Many times this requires flying and sometimes this requires driving your own vehicle or the company vehicle. Please see requirements below.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 26 years old
- Willing/able to travel out of state 10-15weekdaysper month; weekends are rare
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and professionally with customers
- Proven excellent communication skills and patience
- Physical ability to unpack lift and control objects weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Stamina to work some long days and in some construction settings
- Possess valid WI drivers license and clean driving record
- Possess personal vehicle and insurance
- Ability to pass a background check and post offer physical & drug test
- Prefer candidates who live within 30-40 miles of New Berlin
