As a Armed Security Officer Shopping Center - Full Timein Austin TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents respond to security-related concerns and provide exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid drivers license and Level III Armed Certification. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to store employees customers and visitors by carrying out armed security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents disturbances medical emergencies and other critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established protocols and applicable laws.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location including sales floors entrances receiving areas parking lots and perimeter areas to help deter theft trespassing and other unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points observe customer and employee activity and report suspicious behavior hazards and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents patrols and daily activities accurately; coordinate with store management Allied Universal leadership and law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement corrections military or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
